Title

Storage and Scoring Optimization for VEX Push Back Challenge

Abstract

In the VEX challenge, Push Back, competing teams score points by placing small cubes in various goals around the field. This game is unique compared to most VEX challenges because Push Back has an unlimited block capacity while in previous years, robots would be allowed to hold only a few scoring elements. Out of the 70 blocks on the field (35 red and 35 blue), our research group aims to explore different mechanisms and storage units to optimize the scoring and storage of these blocks, teaching our team industry and research robotics experience.
