Manufacturability and Optimization of a Riveted, Compact Tractive Battery Design For FSAE Car
Abstract
The purpose of this project is to research, design, and test a rivet-based tractive battery container (TBC) for a Formula SAE race car. This project has the objective of minimizing the TBC footprint and mass while maintaining its rigidity. Additionally, it is intended to find a more serviceable and manufacturable method than past TBC designs.
