Title
How Feminist Studies courses shape BIPOC undergrads' experiences at UCSB
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to understand how Feminist Studies courses rooted in intersectional and decolonial frameworks shape BIPOC undergraduates’ experiences at UCSB. I aim to find out how these courses have impacted my peers’ political consciousness, identity formation, and sense of empowerment. Mixed methods of surveys and interviews will be utilized for data collection. I hope to understand how these courses transform the way students view the world and educate them on how to become the change they want to see happening today much as they have been for me.
