Forest Fuel

Forest Fuel is a dark comedy play by Claire Ruberg and directed by Veda Arndt-Schreiber which portrays two families at a grief camp. This project explores play development and issues of behind-the-scenes mental health. We plan to produce a complete show including writing, workshops, design, marketing, and actors. As the writer, Claire will experience creating a script; as the director, Veda will experience managing a project and actors. We will conclude with an understanding of the professional theater process and facilitating emotional sustainability for all. We wish to explore how grief can become art in a safe and healthy way.
