Design, Optimization, and Manufacturing of a Mode-Decoupled Suspension System for a Formula Student
Abstract
This project aims to design, optimize, and manufacture a mode-decoupled suspension system for a Formula Student electric race car that mechanically isolates roll and heave motion modes. Through analytical modeling, custom software optimization, and experimental validation, the expected outcome is a fully validated suspension prototype demonstrating superior dynamic control and advancing research in passive motion decoupling.
