Abstract
This study looks at how spending time with a therapy dog may influence adults’ feelings of comfort, emotional openness, and overall ease of communication. The research will take place as field work during real therapy dog events, using a pre-experimental, post-survey design. After interacting with the therapy dog for about ten minutes in a natural and unstructured way, people will complete an online survey that asks how calm, open, and socially connected they feel.
