Abstract

Both queer and spiritual communities rely on intuition- understandings of themselves and of the broader world that come about whether or not there is physical evidence present. In queerness, this often presents as or is described as an attunement to oneself from a very young age. In spirituality, it is often described as a learning process- learning to trust oneself. In both communities, intuition is foundational. It teaches an individual about who they are, what space they occupy, and often, what communities to build.
